Energy Management at household level is multifaceted issue due to factorsinvolving gender, education and awareness energy usage. This study wasconducted in Peshawar city, Pakistan which capital city of the provinceand densely populated. identifies role women energymanagement keeping view household’s characteristicsin an underdeveloped country. The key factors included were (1) educationand job status (2) characteristics nuclear joint family system (3)energy consumption pattern households (4) its implementation amongst females household.One-way ANOVA test shows that spend more than three hours whileutilizing appliances. In addition, high billing cost perunit, electricity during peak hours’ unit, idea renewableenergy sources their use cum was found be extremelylow. results show husband wife indistinguish-able are major decision makers carrying householdchores. Males sole bread winners house majority thefemales housewives despite attaining higher education. Despite thefact aware management, there still a need for full among household.Lastly, trend making pace andenergy management utility bills handled independently. resultscan used policy developing countries.
